Above microwave ovens a 15 to 18 inch deep cabinet is common and above a refrigerator a 24 inch deep cabinet is standard.
The maximum door width for a base cabinet is 600mm.
Wall cabinets are usually 300 mm deep and height can vary with most wall cabinets being either 760 or 990 mm tall.

Generally the standard wall kitchen cabinet depth is 12 inches deep but some can go up to 24 inches deep.
In some kitchens the ceiling height or soffit height can limit the height of wall cabinets to the shorter 760 mm height.
